The whole country is very crazy about cricket. People will even stop doing their important works to watch Indian cricket matches as we feel it is the pride of the nation. But, many of them don’t even know the names of Indian women cricket team which is surprising! We know Sachin, Dhoni, Dravid and Kohli, but do we know the names like Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma and Veda Krishnamurthy? These are a few among several women in Indian women cricket team. Now, to make people realize that even a poor woman can win the National cup with sheer dedication and hard work, ‘Kousalya Krishnamurthy’ is coming on 23^rd August.

Kousalya Krishnamurthy is a cricket-based drama in which a woman who comes from a poor family becomes a cricketer, with the support of her father, overcoming all the hurdles. Aishwarya Rajesh is making her debut in Telugu with this film. The official trailer of the movie has been out now and viewers are responding positively. Aishwarya’s performance is good and Sivakarthikeyan’s dialogue has impressed the viewers. Rajendra Prasad, Jhansi, Karthik Raju, C V L Narasimha Rao, Vennela Kishore, ‘Rangasthalam’ Mahesh, Taxiwala fame Vishnu and Ravi Prakash forms the supporting cast.

Sivakarthikeyan appears in a special role. Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao is directing the film while KA Vallabha is producing it under Creative Commercials. Arunraja Kamaraj has penned the story and Dhibu Ninan Thomas composed music. B. Andrew is handling cinema work while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is editing the movie. This film is a remake of the 2018 Tamil film Kanaa which is a super hit.
