PV Sindhu Won Gold Medal In Commonwealth Games

Star badminton player PV Sindhu won her first singles gold medal at ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022, which was held at Birmingham. Finally, Sindhu exhibited her talent and expertise and accomplished it. The player is 27-year-old and this is her third Commonwealth Games singles medal and first gold.
Earlier, Sindhu won Silver in the year 2018 and Bronze in 2014 in the Commonwealth Games, she also won gold in World Championships (Glasgow 2019), including Silver in Asian Games.
Now, she grabbed the gold medal by defeating Canada’s Michelle Li 21-15, 21-13 in the women’s singles final and made the right calls and judgements and put up a defensive masterclass to determine her opponent.
This is the first time our country India has managed to win three badminton gold medals at the Commonwealth Games and a milestone for Indian badminton.
