RRR Shoot Halted owing to Covid-19 outbreak

The second wave of the Covid pandemic situation is causing some serious interruption in the Tollywood film industry. Multiple big-budget movies have already altered release dates and now, movie shootings are being stopped in the wake of the surge in Covid cases. Incidentally, the makers of the most anticipated film, RRR have canceled the current schedule on an immediate basis.

The increase in the number of Covid cases is said to be the reason behind this sudden decision to stop the shoot of the film. RRR is a magnanimous film and hundreds of technicians and artists are working together on the project. Shooting with such a huge crowd day in day out is simply not possible, given the current situation referring to the Covid outbreak in the nation.

So, the makers have decided to cancel the shoot of the film immediately as they have prioritized the safety of the cast and crew members above all. There is a small part of the shoot of RRR left to be shot and it will be completed in roughly 25 days whenever the shoot restarts again.
