On Tuesday morning, actors Raashii Khanna and Vaani Kapoor visited the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to seek divine blessings. Dressed in traditional sarees, both actresses were seen deeply immersed in their devotional practices.
The duo participated in the revered 'Bhasma Aarti,' a significant ritual performed at the temple during the Brahma Muhurta, between 4 and 5:30 am. In adherence to the temple's customs, Raashii and Vaani wore sarees, which is a mandatory dress code for women attending the Bhasma Aarti. They were seated in the Nandihal of the temple where they performed their prayers.
Post-prayers, Raashii and Vaani shared their spiritual experiences with ANI. Raashii expressed her delight, stating, "It was a delight. I hope Mahakal calls us again." Vaani echoed similar sentiments, adding, "It was a great feeling…Jai Mahakal."
On the work front, Raashii Khanna was recently seen in the Tamil comedy-horror film "Aranmanai 4," co-starring Sundar C and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film, written and directed by Sundar C, was produced by Khushbu Sundar under the Avni Cinemax banner.
Vaani Kapoor is gearing up for the release of "Khel Khel Mein," a film featuring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, and Ammy Virk, directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar, among others. Additionally, Vaani will headline "Badtameez Gill," a coming-of-age Bollywood drama-comedy about a girl and her family, set in Bareilly and London. The film is produced by Nickky Bhagnani, Viicky Bhagnani, and others, and directed by Navjot Gulati, known for "Running Shaadi," "Ginny Weds Sunny," and "Jai Mummy Di." Vaani also has "Raid 2" lined up in her filmography.
