Raghavendra Rao Calls Chiru ‘Baabai’!

Megastar Chiranjeevi has many friendly contacts in the film industry. To say precisely, he is like a family member to many celebrities. His friendly nature makes everyone close to him easily and he is a down-to-earth person and treats everyone affectionately. Coming to the point, today, veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao took to Twitter and shared his memory with Chiranjeevi.
‘Gharana Mogudu’, Chiranjeevi’s film which was directed by Raghavendra Rao has completed 28 years by today. Revealing this, the director has expressed his love towards the mega hero. “Time flies but memories of shooting this film with my Baabai are still fresh in my mind...@KChiruTweets...A Mega special film. A milestone film. It’s been 28 years since #GharanaMogudu's release...Thanks to my producer late Devi Varaprasad and the entire team. @mmkeeravaani,” Raghavendra Rao said.
Gharana Mogodu is a super hit film which stars Nagma as the leading lady. Vani Viswanath, Rao Gopala Rao, and Kaikala Satyanarayana played key roles in the film. The movie was released on 9 April 1992. It was made with Rs 3 crores and collected Rs 10.8 crores at the box office.
Raghavendra Rao and Chiru worked together for many films. Rowdy Alludu, Mugguru Monagallu, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, Iddharu Mitrulu, Sri Manjunatha are to name a few. Raghavendra Rao’s last film is Nagarjuna’s ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ while Chiranjeevi is currently working on his next film ‘Acharya’.
