Rajini TV May Precede Actor’s Party Launch

It is a well known fact that Superstar Rajinikanth is getting ready to dive in to politics full-fledged. In order to strengthen his political foothold, he is prepared to launch his own TV channel. But now, according to the reports, the TV channel may launch even before Rajini’s political party.

Rajini Makkal Mandal, the launch vehicle of Rajini’s political party, has already begun the process of registering trademarks for the channel to be launched.

V M Sudhakar, better known as Sudhakar Rajinikanth, secretary of Rajini Makkal Mandal applied for the approval for three names and already got permission for two names from the Union Commerce Ministry.

Even though Rajinikanth may not have picked a name for his political party, his fan club secured the permission for two names for TV channel- Thalaiva TV and Rajini TV. The ministry rejected the application for the name Superstar TV. The forms said that Sudhakar would be the proprietor of the entity when it starts.
