Rajinikanth on Friendship, Politics, and Religion!

Rajinikanth is back with his movie ‘2.0’ which has collected huge money on its first day. While doing promotions for his movie, he has spoken a few things about friendship, politics, and Religion.

When asked about his political rivalry with his contemporary actor-superstar Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth opposed calling them opponents. He said they are great friends indeed.

Rajini also revealed that many people tried to separate them, but they were all failed. Also, Rajini said that Kamal has helped him many times with dialogues in the movies and he even adjusted his busy dates just for Rajinikanth.

Rajini said that they used to discuss about politics in their early career and also politics can separate their ways. “But we are good friends forever”, Rajini added.

When asked about Sabarimala issue, Rajini said that one should not interfere in the matter of a few temples and customs, not even courts.

As there are some sensitive sentiments and customs interlinked with these temples, he feels that one should interfere in these issues. He also said that politics and religion should not be linked under any circumstances.
