Samantha in Sadhguru’s Path!

Cauvery Calling is a first of its kind campaign initiated by Sadhguru, an Indian yogi. Cauvery is drying up as trees are disappearing and so farmers are suffering. The river has depleted over 40% in the last 70 years. The suffering of farmers and their suicides in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka have made national headlines, but no one took responsibility to support them. Finally, Sadhguru initiated the support by naming it ‘Cauvery Calling’. This initiative asks everyone to take responsibility and donate money to plant a tree. Many people including celebrities are supporting Cauvery Calling and recently Samantha joined it.

“Cauvery is calling .. will you respond .. donate here .. http://samantha.cauverycalling.org 1,00,000 trees 🌲.. You and I together ❤️ .. we can do this #cauverycalling,” she wrote. Samantha is very active in doing social service and also she has a non-profit organization named Pratyusha Foundation. On the film front, Sam is busy in the shoot of her upcoming web series which will be released on Netflix.

Samantha has bagged a super hit through ‘Oh Baby’ and the film was dubbed into Tamil and released on August 15^th. The film in Tamil too got a good response as Tamilians became a fan of Samantha after watching her performance in Super Deluxe. Recently, she has appeared in a cameo role in Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2. After that, she started participating in the shoot of web series. More details about the web series is yet to be out.
