Shooting Of Indian 2 To Be Resumed!

The upcoming vigilante action film Indian 2 which is being directed by S. Shankar is all set to be resumed back in August in Hyderabad. There were rumors that the film was dropped. As per latest reports director is currently looking out for locations in Andhra Pradesh for shooting. Rajahmundry could be a possible location for the major portion of the shoot.

The movie is a sequel of 1996 film Indian, which featured Kamal Haasan in dual roles with Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar. Kamal Haasan and Nedumudi will be seen in the same roles from the first part. Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Aishwarya Rajesh and Priya Bhavani Shankar are also in pivotal roles.

Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. Kajal has undergone training in Indian martial arts, Kalaripayattu. Veteran actor Delhi Ganesh will also be seen in the film. Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal will be playing the role of an antagonist in the film. Music of the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Kamal Haasan made a statement in December 2018 that this film is going to be his last film, in his 58-years acting career. Kamal Haasan was last seen as an actor in Tamil movie Vishwaroopam II, which was released in 2018. His last movie as a producer was Kadaram Kondan, released on 19^th July, which featured his daughter Akshara Haasan.
