Shriya in for Baahubali Prequel

The prequel of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ titled ‘Baahubali: Before the Beginning’ is being directed by Deva Katta and Praveen Satturu for Netflix.

It is already revealed that the movie stars Mrunal Thakur as the young Sivagami. Rahul Bose and Atul Kulkarni are also the part of the cast.

Now, even more interested news was revealed that Shriya Saran is going to play an important role in the film.

It is said that the two directors were impressed by Shriya’s performance in ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ and contacted her for the role in Baahubali prequel. Shriya immediately accepted the role after listening to her part, sources said.

Shriya was recently seen in a Telugu film ‘Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu’ which had become disaster. Hope Baahubali prequel will fetch her a few more chances!
