This Bollywood Actors Hurts Hindu Sentiments

An advertisement which has Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan and Kiara Advani has come under fire online for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. Many people on internet have criticized the ad for hurting the sentiments of Hindus and moviemaker Vivek Agnihotri who is best for directing The Kashmir Files, shared the video of the ad on social media, and criticized the brand for their misplaced social activism and called them – idiots.
Vivek Agnihotri took to his social media and posted: I just fail to understand since when Banks have become responsible for changing social & religious traditions? I think @aubankindia should do activism by changing corrupt banking system. Aisi bakwaas karte hain fir kehte hain Hindus are trolling. Idiots.
The ad in question is for AU Small Finance Bank that shows Aamir Khan and Kiara Advani as newlyweds travelling back from their wedding in a car and discuss that none of them cried during the bidaai. It is then revealed that contrary to the usual practice, it is groom, who has moved to bride’s house to help her in taking care of her father.
He takes first step in their new house, as opposed to the tradition of the bride doing so and then Aamir Khan appears in a bank and says, “Why should traditions that have continued for centuries continue to do so? That’s why we question every banking tradition and so that you get the best service.”
We know that Aamir Khan has been facing the ire of fans and audience for his old intolerance statements that resulted in negative campaigning against his recently released film Laal Singh Chaddha costarring Naga Chaitanya and Kareena Kapoor. The movie has now been released on Netflix and found new lease of life from audience.
