Timing of the movie 'The accidental prime minister' not by accident
Some movies are meant for entertainment, while others are focused on the social cause. But in all this, there are some films which are made by keeping 'special intentions' as 'The Accidental Prime Minister'. This movie is not only a biopic but it has been made keeping some 'specific intentions', and this is evident with just a few minutes of the film.
'The Accidental Prime Minister' movie is based on the book written by Sanjay Baru who was media advisor to former PM Manmohan Singh from 2004 to 2008. Just as the book the movie has become a centerpiece of controversy and has landed into many disputes.
The storyline of the movie revolves around the PM Dr.Singh and the Gandhi family and the 2009 elections but not to kid anyone it seems to show what will happen if the UPA government is back in power. Anupam Kher in the role of Manmohan Singh, Suezen Burnt in the role of Sonia Gandhi, and Akshay Khanna in the role of Sanjay Baru all have tried to provide justice to their role but have miserably failed with Anupam kher in no case looking like what our former PM is and Suezen making Sonia Gandhi look like expressionless villain. The trials of these three political leaders are equally amusing. However, if you want to talk about the whole film, neutrally, it does not seem to have turned on its side and it is disappointing at many places.
The movie releasing at the time when the next Lok Sabha elections are near is definitely not by an accident unlike the title of the movie. It is a clear political ad to make people see the Congress rule, comical and different faces of Rahul Gandhi making him seem unfit especially when he is a PM candidate for the upcoming elections.
Verdict
After seeing the initial trailer there was finally a hope that finally a movie will be made depicting actual political events however it seems that it fails to deliver on its promises.
