Trivikram Turns 51 Today

Trivikram Srinivas has been one of the most popular movie makers in Tollywood and his contribution to Telugu cinema is immense in the last two decades.
The director turns 51 today and the real game starts now. Telugu cinema has been making a splash on a pan-India level now a days and it is no more local industry.
With kthe film, RRR, Tollywood has also gone global. Directors such as SS Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, Sukumar, Puri Jagannadh etc who are Trivikram’s contemporaries, are now making movies not just for the Telugu audience but all over world.
Trivikram started his career as an advertising professional at a leading MNC and later he started his movie career as a scriptwriter in the year 1999.
His first movie as a scriptwriter was Venu Thottempudi and Laya starrer Swayamvaram (1999), which was a big hit.
Soon after, he wrote scripts for movies such as Chiru Navvuto (2000), Youth (2002), among others, before making his directorial debut with the film, Nuvve Nuvve (2002).
In 2005, Trivikram came up with his second directorial movie Athadu. Though it was a theatrical failure, the film gained cult status with its TV telecasts. It is still considered the best work for the director by many of his fans. Irrespective of box office results, his films are enjoyed by youth and as well as families.
Now, his debut film, Nuvve Nuvve, featuring Tarun and Shriya in the lead roles, is all set to be re-released from 4th to 7th Nov, in Telugu states, on the eve of Trivikram’s birthday Today.
