Why It Took So Long for Pelli Choopulu Heroine to Sign Up New Movie?

After her talented performance as Chitra in the Pelli Chupulu film, Ritu Varma was expected to be the next big thing in Tollywood. The Hyderabadi girl won the Nandi award for Best Actress for her awesome performance in the movie. Till now, it has been three years that the actress has not done any single movie in the Tollywood.

She has a couple of films in Tamil and Telugu in her pipeline. Finally, director Shree Karthik narrated her a script and found that she would be perfect for the script. The actress is going to pair up with the actor Sharwanand and it is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, which went on floors last week.

She has also roped in for the lead role opposite to Naga Shaurya in a soon-to-commence romantic entertainer. The movie is going to be produced under the Sitara Entertainments banner and it will be directed by debutant Lakshmi Sowjanya. The movie is going to shot in India and Paris.

In a recent interview, When asked what took her so long to sign a Telugu film she says, “It’s not like I wasn’t offered Telugu movies or that I didn’t want to do them any longer it’s just that the kind of films that I wanted to do wasn’t coming my way, so I did Tamil films instead.”
