Tamannaah Bhatia Set for Key Role in Ravi Teja’s Upcoming Film
Actor Tamannaah Bhatia is preparing to make a notable return to Telugu cinema after a brief gap, reportedly signing on for a key role in an upcoming film starring Ravi Teja. The project, tentatively titled Irumudi, is being directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Tamannaah, who has maintained a strong presence across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries, had recently appeared in the Telugu film Odela 2, a heroine-centric project with devotional elements. After that release, she focused largely on projects in other languages.
According to industry sources, Tamannaah will not be the primary female lead in Irumudi. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has already been confirmed as the film’s heroine. However, Tamannaah is expected to portray a powerful and pivotal character that significantly influences the story.
Reports suggest that her role carries substantial narrative weight and may be nearly as important as the protagonist’s character. The film is already generating curiosity among fans due to the collaboration between Ravi Teja and director Shiva Nirvana, who is known for crafting emotionally driven stories.
Adding further intrigue, sources claim Ravi Teja will appear in dual roles in the film. The storyline reportedly revolves around two contrasting characters played by the actor, and Tamannaah’s role is expected to be closely tied to their arcs.
Meanwhile, Tamannaah continues to remain busy with projects across industries. In Tamil cinema, she is working on a film titled Purushan opposite Vishal, which is expected to release in Telugu as Mogudu. She is also reportedly involved in several Hindi projects, including Hera Pheri 3 and No Entry 2.
Her participation in Irumudi has already sparked excitement among Tollywood fans eager to see her return in a strong and impactful role.
