Chandrababu Delhi ‘Deeksha’ Today – Costs 10 Cr!
TDP head and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is going to start a ‘Deeksha’ in Delhi today and this is definitely a historical move by Chandrababu.
The Deeksha which is going to held today (February 11th) is expected to cost 10 crores. No politician till now has taken up such a costly Deeksha for whatever reasons!
The AP government has hired two special trains from South Central Railway. One was started from Anantapur and the other from Srikakulam.
A huge crowd along with some NGOs will be taken to the venue. The cost of hiring the two trains is said to be 1.12 crores, which has 20 compartments each.
30 Special buses were sent to Delhi and 80 luxury suites were also booked for ministers and other VIPs.
Though TDP leaders said that the ‘Deeksha’ is for pressurizing Union government for Special Category Status, people and opposition parties are questioning why Chandrababu accepted special package offered by BJP a few years ago, if he really wants special status.
Some are saying that Chandrababu is wasting public money for ‘fake’ Deekshas. It seems Chandrababu first should clear the doubts of people, before doing this kind of Deekshas!
