Indians Turn Down NRI MBBS Students!
Indian students are becoming more and more popular at colleges in the US, Europe, and other countries. But there is a new and interesting trend in the opposite direction.
The MBBS medical degree is known for being hard and requiring a lot of work, and India has high standards in this area. Many Indian students go abroad to get tech degrees and other degrees.
But 20,38,585 people took the NEET test this year, which was a big surprise. Many of them were outsiders, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) who wanted to get medical degrees. Even though a lot of these foreign candidates passed the test, many of them are worried that their names are missing from the list of qualified candidates for some reason.
Students from NRI are sad because of this surprise. They had high dreams that they would be able to get places in India, but the current confusion and lack of explanation has turned this hope into a big letdown. So, they are speaking out against the systems that are in place in India.
