Jagan Mohan Reddy elected as New Chief Minister for AP
After his victory, Jagan Mohan Reddy was elected as the CM for AP state. His Oath ceremony was held on 30th May 2019 in presence of His Cabinet of Ministers and supporting voters.
The ceremony for Oath taking was organized at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium under administration held by E.S.L Narasimhan (Governor AP & TS state). The ceremony was also attended by Telangana state CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Mr. M. K Stalin DMK leader.
In 2019 Lok Sabha Elections YSRCP party led under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy had seen its historic victory for the General Assembly elections. The Oath ceremony was conducted by Mr. Reddy in the local Telugu language held around 12:23 pm. This was the time that was selected by party advisors.
Jagan Mohan Reddy who is 46 years old is also second elected CM for the new state after N. Chandrababu Naidu. In present elections, N Chandrababu Naidu also had to suffer defeat against YSRCP.
Sources stated that the ceremony was attended by Jagan Mohan Reddy who arrived at the site in comfort of his Open roof vehicle. While arriving at the site, Jagan Mohan Reddy greeted his supporters with a broad smile on his face.
His supporters also cheered him for his success in the elections at the time of Oath taking ceremony that was also attended by thousands of His supporters from YSRCP party.
At the time of the Oath ceremony, Mr. Reddy also thanked his late father and all his supporters for their blessings.
