Japanese Firm To Invest Rs 126 Crore In Hyderabad.

Nicomac Taikisha Cleanrooms will set up its 3rd manufacturing facility in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 126.2 crore. The announcement made in the presence of KT Rama Rao, Minister of IT and Industries.
Taikisha, a 110-year-old Japan-based engineering company, has acquired Nicomac Cleanrooms.
Taikisha is a pioneer in setting up lithium-ion battery manufacturing, the food industry, cleanrooms and heating, ventilation, air conditioning for electronic devices, and hydroponic farming. It manufactures and constructs cleanroom facilities for pharmaceuticals and vaccines in sterile industries.
The company’s cleanrooms are installed in major pharmaceutical industries in India and abroad. The company is presently operating 2 manufacturing units at IDA Bollaram in Hyderabad.
It proposes to set up a 3rd manufacturing facility to expand its cleanroom production and start producing HVAC systems by transferring technology from Japan. The company has planned to invest Rs 126.22 crore.
Nicomac Taikisha will also explore the possibilities of creating a significant manufacturing base for its entire product range in to meet the demand of the Indian and export markets.
The production output from the new manufacturing facility will cater to Indian, Asian markets and Japanese.
