MLC Candidates Picked By Congress

While the Lok Sabha elections polling is going in the last phase, the by-poll elections for Members of Legislative Council (MLC) will be held on 31^st May, the last date for filling the nominations is 14^th May.

The parties with a strong presence in constituencies, a strong battle will be between Congress and TRS. The Congress has picked up candidates and has sent their names to AICC headquarters in Dheli for the approval of Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

From Nalgonda local authorities constituencyKomatireddy Lakshmi Reddy, from Warangal local authority constituency senior party leader E Venkatram Reddy. The candidate for Ranga Reddy constituency is likely to be finalized late on Sunday night. Congress ex-MLAs Malreddy Ranga Reddy and T Ram Mohan Reddy are in the race for the seat.

The term of the MLCs, after winning the bi-polls will be till 4th January 2022.
