Manohar Parrikar Said No Relation with New Rafael Deal: Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi after visiting Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar claimed that Parrikar said that he had nothing to do with "new deal" on Rafale fighter jets.
Rahul targeted PM Modi saying that Modi is trying to benefit Anil Ambani. Rahul Gandhi visited Parrikar after the day the tweet came out "explosive Rafale secrets that gave the Goa Chief Minister power over the PM".
Rahul also said that he has audio tape in which Parrikar is saying that the files related to Rafael deal “were in his bedroom”.
But Mr Parrikar tweeted that the audio clip was a "desperate attempt to fabricate facts".
Congress claimed that Mr Parrikar, when he was defence minister, said that no one can remove him as "all the Rafale papers are in my flat, in my bedroom".
However, the SC said there is no doubt in the decision-making process in the Rafael deal amid Congress allegations.
