Nara Lokesh Assures Swift Implementation of GO 229 Once TDP Regains Power
Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) National General Secretary, Nara Lokesh, declared the party's commitment to implementing Government Order (GO) 229 promptly upon returning to power. During a direct interaction with the residents of Panchgrams at ParavadaSantabayalu, Lokesh acknowledged the challenges faced by the people in the region. The issue pertains to 12,000 acres and 18,000 houses, affecting numerous individuals who lack the ability to sell their property for essential needs like education, medical expenses, and house repairs.
Lokesh criticized the YS Jagan Reddy-led government for its handling of the matter, alleging that despite promises made during the padayatra, no tangible progress had been achieved in the four and a half years in power. He highlighted the TDP's efforts, led by Chandrababu Naidu, to address the problem through GO 578, emphasizing the party's dedication to resolving the issue permanently.
Lokesh accused the YCP government of hindering the implementation of GO 229, asserting that once TDP returns to power, they will swiftly address the concerns of Panchgramas, including problems faced by farmers and issues related to housing. He underscored the TDP's track record of facilitating house repairs during their previous regime, contrasting it with the alleged inaction of the current government in this regard.
