Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Hands Appointment Letters to 562 Group-1 Officers

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday formally handed over appointment letters to 562 candidates who cleared the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group-1 examinations. The ceremony, held at Shilpakala Vedika, marked an important milestone in the state’s governance, as these officers will now take charge in various crucial departments, strengthening administration across Telangana.
Out of 563 notified posts, one remains vacant due to a High Court directive, while the rest have been successfully filled. The officers will assume key roles in departments such as Revenue, Police, Commercial Taxes, Excise, Transport, and other wings that directly impact public life. Group-1 jobs, considered the most prestigious state government services, involve a rigorous selection process including preliminary exams, mains, and interviews. Successful candidates are appointed as Deputy Collectors, DSPs, Commercial Tax Officers, and other top positions.
Congratulating the appointees, CM Revanth Reddy urged them to dedicate themselves to honesty, transparency, and public welfare. He emphasized that Group-1 service is not merely a profession but a lifetime commitment to society. The Chief Minister also assured that his government will continue to ensure fair recruitment and create more opportunities for the youth of Telangana.
Revanth Reddy highlighted that the new officers are expected to play a pivotal role in implementing welfare schemes, delivering quick services, and fostering a people-friendly administration. He expressed confidence that their energy and skills will contribute significantly to Telangana’s growth and governance.
The event symbolized both the aspirations of lakhs of job-seekers who view Group-1 as the pinnacle of state service, and the government’s resolve to strengthen institutions with young and dynamic officers. For the candidates, receiving appointment letters marked not only the beginning of their careers but also a pledge to uphold public trust and work for inclusive development.
