Telangana is ensuring both urban and rural development, according to KTR

According to KT Rama Rao, Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, in order for a city or state to grow and develop, emphasis should be placed on the supply of essential infrastructure; otherwise, it cannot serve as a successful example.

In addition to Hyderabad, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had made sure that all of the state's metropolitan regions were growing. According to him, the State administration was assuring the expansion of both urban and rural development using a comprehensive, integrated, inclusive, and balanced methodology.

Speaking on Saturday after opening a real estate expo in this city, Rama Rao said Telangana has seen balanced development during the previous nine years, regardless of the state's many industry sectors, such as agriculture, IT, the environment, or manufacturing.

However, a city's fundamental infrastructure was crucial for success in the real estate industry. The energy need was met in the instance of Hyderabad. The State's installed electricity capacity was 7000 MW in 2014, yet there was a power shortage. In the past, power outages and holidays were commonplace, but now, he added, the installed power capacity has climbed to 26,000 MW.

Similarly, efforts were being made to meet Hyderabad's need for drinking water. Both the Krishna River and the Godavari River were used to provide water. Hyderabad had a population of 1.20 crore at the time, and even if that number rose to 3 crore, the State government had built the infrastructure necessary to provide drinking water needs through the year 2052, according to the Minister.

According to him, the water supply from the Kaleshwaram and Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation projects, which contribute 10% of Hyderabad's water supply, is being used to ensure the city's drinking water security.

Infrastructure in terms of the physical world was crucial, in addition to electricity and water for drinking. Investors and even superstar Rajinikanth had expressed admiration for the infrastructural development by remarking that Hyderabad now reminded them of New York, he added.
