Time To Decide Whether Farmers Want PM Modi Or KCR: KTR

KT Rama Rao, TRS (BRS) working president, wanted farmers to choose between PM Narendra Modi, who was installing electricity meters for their water pumps, and CM K Chandrashekhar Rao, who was providing free power, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, and other benefits.
KTR wanted the farmers of the Munugode constituency to deliver their verdict in the form of votes in the Munugode by-poll on November 3.
In a teleconference with farmers from the Munugode constituency, the minister asked farmers to compare their condition before the formation of the Telangana State and during the TRS regime in the last 8 years. He reminded me that Telangana was the only State to spend Rs 10,500 crore every year to supply free power to the agriculture sector in India. He also mentioned that the KCR govt spent Rs 58,000 crore for Rythu Bandhu and provided Rs 5 lakh insurance under Rythu Bima, which changed the face of the agriculture sector.
Rama Rao cautioned farmers that the Modi government was trying to privatize electricity transmission and distribution for the benefit of its crony capitalist friends.
According to Rama Rao, prepaid electricity meters will be installed at agricultural pump sets if the BJP succeeds in its efforts.
