Will BC’s Look Back to CBN
BC’s have been the backbone for Telugu Desam Party and AP chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu over a long period. But after the declaration of separate reservation to Kapus after the 2014 elections a gap turned up between TDP and BC’s.
As in the meantime, YSRCP conducted several meetings in favor of the BC's and have gained momentum and interest from BC's to consider them for the next elections.
To bridge that gap and to counter the oppositions stints, AP chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu is hosting a public meeting called Jayaho BC at Rajahmundry on Sunday so that he can recoup the confidence and voter pulse of BC’s.
In the convention, CBN will be promising that the reservation of Kapus 5% will be provided under the Economic Backward Class quota and there will be no hamper to the percentage of BC quota. He might be trying to blot out the BC’s quota issues by delivering the welfares that have been done and also planned for BC’s.
Separate Residential schools, colleges for BC's and modernization in hereditary jobs of BC's are proposed by the TDP government. The above schemes are followed up from the practices of the Telangana government.
As AP CM is looking interested to attract the BC sector through this meeting, the opposition parties are defining it with as traps for BC’s and CBN is cheating on them.
BC leader of YSRCP, Bharat condemned AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu by questioning what is that you have done for BC’s in the past 4 years if you had so much love for them. The Adharan scheme pending applications from the government will define the whereabouts of the Love to BC’s.
Bharat added that CBN is looking to operate divide and rule policy between Kapus and BC’s so that he gains the majority in the upcoming elections. He even asked how can 5% be given to the Kapus among the 10% quota of Economically backward castes.
Should wait and see how far Chandra Babu Naidu can achieve the strength of BC’s back on him and his TDP party.
