COA makes no decision on IND-PAK world cup match
The committee of Administrators (CoA) couldn't decide in taking any stand on the World Cup clash between India and Pakistan but mentioned that it would individually urge ICC members to "sever ties with any nation that is a terrorist hub."
After the Pulwama attack, there has been a call to boycott World Cup match against Pakistan on June 16th.
CoA chief Vinod Rai said that “16th of June is very far away. We will take a call on that much later and in consultation with the government.”
Rai also added, "In an e-mail to the ICC, we have expressed our concerns about the terrorist attack that has taken place. We are telling them that the security of players and match officials should be appropriately taken care of.”
“Please understand that we still have three months time. We will abide by what the government says. We can't comment on hypothetical situations as we haven’t arrived at a decision,” Rai added.
