Cricketer Brian Lara Hospitalized
Former West Indies captain Brian Lara has hospitalized immediately after complaining a chest pain. He was admitted to the Global Hospital in Parel on Tuesday noon.
He is in the city as an expert commentator for Star Sports for the ICC World Cup. Sources revealed that he underwent some medical tests including an angiography.
Lara is kept under the observation of cardiologist Dr. Praveen Kulkarni and will be discharged in one or two days. “He is doing well. The tests reports have not shown anything worrisome”, a source revealed.
A statement released by the hospital said that Lara doesn’t want to reveal his health condition to the public.
“We request you to respect his right to privacy. We do not reveal our patients clinical and health condition without their explicit consent”, it stated.
