"Dhoni is most Committed to Indian cricket” - Virat Kohli after Winning ODI Series against Aus
India created yet another history by winning the India-Australia ODI series. MS Dhoni was the one who contributed significantly in this win. However, due to his past performances, he was criticized asking him to go back to domestic cricket before being a part of any international tours of India. Also many believed that his time was done. But Dhoni with his recent spectacular batting once again proved the fact ' Form is temporary while class is permanent'.
Indian captain Virat lashed out at rhino's critics by defending the former captain saying that, "He will build on this performance in the series. Every batsman needs that kind of rhythm and runs next to your name to gain confidence. People say a lot of things on the outside. As an individual, I know that nobody is more committed to Indian cricket than MS. They should let him figure out things on his own and what he needs to do. He is one of the most intelligent cricketers and he is not someone who is not aware of what needs to be done. As a team, we are totally in sync with what he is doing and we are all very happy for him".
He also said that No. 5 is the best place for Dhoni as it allows him to both take his time and also to take India to the win.
Dhoni top-scored with an unbeaten 87 as India chased down 231 in Melbourne to win by 7 wickets and take the series 2-1. He scored three fifties and aggregated 193 runs, the second most after Shaun Marsh. Dhoni was also named as the man-of-the-series. With the world cup nearing and Dhoni back in his form, it will indeed be a pleasure to watch him take India to the win in the upcoming matches.
