Indian Youth Olympics bid is scheduled for 2030, according to Sports Minister Mandaviya
India is planning to submit a bid for the 2030 Youth Olympics, according to Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, as a step toward the nation's goal of hosting the 2036 Olympics. The international competition will hold its fifth edition of the Youth Olympics in 2030.
Speaking on the fringes of the 44th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in this city, Mandaviya stated, "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi we are going to bid for the 2030 Youth Olympics but our focus remains on hosting the 2036 Olympics."
"We have been able to host multiple international sporting events under Modiji's leadership, including cricket World Cups and football U-17 World Cups," stated JP Nadda, the president of the BJP.

To secure the right to host the 2030 Youth Olympics, India will contend with competition from Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, Mongolia, Russia, Ukraine, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
