Parents want Mahi to quit Cricket!
The ICC Cricket World Cup ended on 14th July and speculations on M.S Dhoni’s retirement started. On social media, people started #MSDhoniDontRetire hashtag. Many believed that Dhoni would take retirement from international cricket immediately after the world cup. The 38-year-old veteran wicket-keeper’s form has been in question for quite some time now.
Amidst such speculations, childhood coach of Mahi, Keshav Banerjee told that his parents want him to quit cricket and live with them in Ranchi. He said, “I went to Dhoni’s house on Sunday and talked to his parents. They said that Dhoni should leave cricket now. I said no, he should play for one more year. It would be better if he leaves after the T20 World Cup. They protested by saying that ‘no who would take care of this big house’. I said when you have taken care of the house for this long, then wait for another year,”.
Dhoni, who is the most successful captain of India and a phenomenal wicket-keeper, holds many records against his name and took India to number one position in both Test and One-day cricket. His exit from international cricket is definitely going to break many hearts.
