Rohit Sharma will miss Sydney Test, after daughter's birth
Rohit will join the ODI squad on the 8th of January 2019, when the team begins their preparation for the ODI series starting 12th January.
Rohit revealed his wife Ritika Sajdeh's pregnancy in a promotional video for Hublot with former Australia captain Michael Clarke.
"I cannot wait to be a father; it is going to be a game-changing moment in our lives. I am eagerly awaiting the moment of becoming a father. It will be a moment to change our life," Rohit told Clarke.
The news of Rohit and Ritika's daughter was confirmed by Ritika's cousin sister Seema Khan, who is the wife of actor-producer Sohail Khan, when she posted an Instagram story tagging Ritika, with the caption "Baby girl, Masi's again.
