Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal Not Marrying on December 7; Family Confirms No New Date Yet
Rumours about Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and composer Palash Muchhal rescheduling their postponed wedding to December 7 have been dismissed by Mandhana’s family. The wedding, originally set for November 23 in Sangli, was cancelled after Smriti’s father suffered a sudden health emergency and was immediately hospitalized. Palash himself was later admitted due to extreme emotional stress.
Following the postponement, speculation surged on social media, fuelled by alleged leaked chats and images suggesting a cheating controversy. Fans also noticed the removal of engagement-related posts, leading to heightened assumptions and online drama.
However, Smriti’s brother Shravan Mandhana has now clarified that no new wedding date has been decided and confirmed that the ceremony remains postponed. In agreement, Palash’s mother Amita Muchhal told the media that celebrations will resume only after both families recover emotionally and medically, expressing optimism that the wedding will still take place soon.
She added that it was Palash who requested the postponement out of respect for Smriti’s father, whom he is emotionally close to. Despite the online buzz, there has been no official announcement of a fresh date, and both families have urged the public to avoid believing rumours.
