$1 Billion Investment By Amazon In Theatrical Movies?

Movies and cinemas are becoming the most watched and liked mode of entertainment, and everyone is trying to enter this field. Many large companies are showing their interest in this regard. Talking about Amazon's plans, some people close to the company say that Amazon is planning to invest around $1 Billion per year in making theatrical movies.

Netflix has already shown interest in this but is still in it. As of now, Amazon has not yet given any official statement regarding the matter. Everything that is running in the media is an assumption. According to them, Amazon will spend 1 Billion and take around 12 to 14 movies annually. Yes, this might sound less, but the budget they are putting into that will be a game changer in the movie industry.

Amazon has previously invested in some movies, which is why they are willing to invest more. Being the largest retailer, it aims to enter the cinema industry with a boom. Streaming movies have become accessible, and they are trying the same with the theater part.
