The suicide of VG Siddhartha, founder of India’s largest coffee chain Cafe Coffee Day, has left everyone in shock for a few days. Many people were saddened by his death and entrepreneurs started understanding that they should be very strong to handle the loss. Many top entrepreneurs have spoken on this already to avoid further suicides of businessmen. Billionaire Anand Mahindra said, “…entrepreneurs must not allow business failure to destroy their self-esteem."
But, it needs a lot of courage to handle the huge loss and it definitely needs practice. If we look closely, everyone has failures in some stages and the people among them who take it as an initial step to success will be succeeded and who thinks it’s the end of the life may commit suicide, thinking they’ve lost everything. In fact, it’s just money that a person has lost, but not the self-esteem!
After the death of Siddhartha, some people are trying to learn lessons while some are trying to help the entrepreneurs in different ways. Apollo Pharmacy is one among the people who are trying to help CCD! Executive Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals Group Shobana Kamineni has initiated 25000 Apollo workers to have a cup of coffee at Café Coffee Day!
Upasana Konidela tweeted, “Shaken by the sudden demise of the coffee king, mom @shobanakamineni initiated our 25,000 @ApolloPharmacy family to have a cup of coffee at @CafeCoffeeDay across the country. As a family we truly believe in supporting Indian Businesses . 🙏🏼#RIPSiddhartha.” This happened recently and we can see pics in which Apollo employees were standing in a queue to enter CCD!
