‘7 Wonders of the World’ in Delhi

Imagine how it could be if you are able to see all the seven wonders of the world at one place. Isn’t it amazing!

As a part of the tourist attraction, the replicas of seven wonders in the world are going to be seen at a park in Delhi.

The wind and solar power can be harnessed to meet the power demand of the Wonders of the World Park. It is located near Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal in south-east Delhi.

The park will have replicas of the Taj Mahal, Great Pyramid of Giza, Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro, Rome’s Colosseum, and the Statue of Liberty.

The clones at the park are fabricated with scrap automobile parts. SDMC has installed three solar trees at the park and each has a capacity to generate up to 6 KW power.

Solar panels are also installed on the roof of the washroom constructed out of an old shipping container.

The idea to build this kind of park was borrowed from a similar park in Kota, Rajasthan and the total cost of this project is 7.5 crore.

A little entry fee will be charged from the visitors and that money will be used for maintenance of the place, SDMC said. The park is said to be opened in the second week of February.
