Adipurush Makers Demand Huge Amount?

Adipurush marks the first time collaboration of Young Rebel star Prabhas and Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon. The makers of the film have already wrapped up the entire shoot and currently the movie which is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, is in the post production process. The reports suggest that the makers of Adipurush demanding Rs 35 cr (advance basis) for overseas theatrical rights.

As there’s no promotional content out, most of the distributors are not in a hurry for now to buy the rights of the film.

The makers have already confirmed that the film Adipurush will be released in 3D and IMAX format. Adipurush is Om Raut’ take on Indian mythological epic Ramayana, which has been adapted for movie and television numerous times in India. However, the idea for film was born when Om Raut attended a screening of Japanese movie maker Yugo Sako’s anime version of the epic, The Prince of Light, which he watched in the 2000’s.

Adipurush also features Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh in the crucial roles and the big budget drama is produced together by T-series and Retrophiles. On the otherside, Prabhas is currently working for the film Salaar under the direction of Prashanth Neel.
