Arjun Tendulkar Gets Engaged to Saaniya Chandok in Private Ceremony

Young Indian cricketer Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, has entered a new chapter in life by getting engaged to Saaniya Chandok. The private engagement ceremony took place on Wednesday with only close family and friends in attendance, in keeping with the low-profile nature of both families.
Saaniya Chandok hails from one of Mumbai’s most prominent business families. She is the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, whose family owns several renowned ventures in the hospitality and food industry, including the InterContinental Hotel and the Brooklyn Creamery ice cream brand. Despite her influential background, Saaniya is known for keeping away from the media spotlight.
Neither the Tendulkar family nor the Ghai family has made an official announcement, but news of the engagement has quickly spread, drawing warm wishes from cricket fans and well-wishers.
Arjun, 25, is a promising left-arm fast-bowling all-rounder who represents Goa in domestic cricket and has played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Starting his career in Mumbai’s junior circuits, he earned a spot in the India U-19 team before making his T20 debut for Mumbai in the 2020-21 season. He later moved to Goa in 2022-23, debuting in both List A and first-class formats. In red-ball cricket, Arjun has played 17 matches, scoring 532 runs (including a century and two fifties) and taking 37 wickets.
In the IPL, he has featured in five matches for Mumbai Indians, picking up three wickets. The engagement marks a personal milestone for the young cricketer, who continues to carve his own path in the sport while carrying forward the Tendulkar legacy.
