Ayansh Clinches Two Badminton Titles at Summer Cup

Young shuttler Ayansh delivered a stellar performance at the St John’s Coaching Foundation Summer Cup badminton tournament held in Begumpet, Hyderabad, clinching both the under-11 and under-13 titles. His skill and composure across two age categories marked him as a rising talent in the junior circuit.
In the under-11 final, Ayansh faced a tough challenge from Granth but came through with a 16-14, 15-13, 15-4 win. He continued his dominance in the under-13 final, again defeating Granth with a scoreline of 21-19, 21-16. Both matches showcased Ayansh’s endurance, shot selection, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
In the same tournament, Ved Reddy secured third place in the under-11 category, while Shaurya finished third in under-13. In the under-15 division, Aanya emerged victorious over Yash with a close 21-18, 22-20 win. Granth, despite finishing runner-up in two finals, managed a third-place finish in the under-15 category, highlighting his consistent presence in the competition.
The awards were presented by John Manoj, Managing Director of St John’s Foundation, who praised the participants for their spirited performances and encouraged young athletes to pursue the sport with dedication.
The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from budding players and helped identify promising talent in Hyderabad’s growing badminton scene. Ayansh’s double victory stands out as a testament to his preparation and potential for higher-level competitions in the near future.
