Bill Gates Pours Heart out for Apple Co-founder Steve Jobs
It is known that when Bill Gates and Steve Jobs started Microsoft and Apple respectively and were building the companies step by step, they were not in good terms. As time passed, they developed a liking for one other and started even admiring each other.
Recently in an interview, he spoke about his deceased rival Steve. He said, “In terms of picking talent, hyper-motivating that talent, there was no one like Jobs.” He added, “Apple was on a ‘path to die’ before Jobs came back to save it.” He further said, “I was like a minor wizard because he would be casting spells and I would see people mesmerized, but because I’m a minor wizard, the spells don’t work on me.”
Talking about the negative things about Jobs, Bill Gates said, “he could be ass-hole at times, but he bought some incredibly positive things along with that toughness.”
A few days back, Gates admitted that his biggest mistake was to not have an operating system like iOS or Android. He said that this has cost the company a swopping $400 billion.
