All the staff members including the drivers and conductors reported on the duty on or before 6 am. They were provided with proper sanitation and face masks as the services restarts. The buses were on roads from 6 am onwards.
Physical distancing was being strictly followed and passengers were not allowed to form crowds or stand in the lines. Tickets were being issued based on the seating capacity and ensuring physical distancing by passengers on the buses.
TSTRC Executive Director Yadagiri personally examined the proper routine and operations of the buses at Uppal crossroads in the morning. He said, “there was no huge rush at the stations in the districts and at the temporary boarding points in the city”.
However, the operation of buses is quite different in the city of Hyderabad. Buses were being operated and terminated at different locations. Buses arriving from Warangal and Yadagirigutta end were being terminated at Uppal crossroads while those coming from Nalgonda and Khammam were being halted at Hayathnagar.
