Chandrababu Naidu Unveils TDP's Plans for Tribal Development in Araku
Former Chief Minister and TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu unveiled an array of promises and plans aimed at fostering the development of tribal areas in Araku Valley. Addressing a public gathering at the 'Raa Kadali Raa' meeting at the Araku-Jaypore junction, Naidu assured the locals of a brighter future under the TDP government.
Naidu pledged to reissue the canceled GO No. 3, which provided employment opportunities for tribals, under the YSRCP government. He also affirmed that TDP would prioritize jobs for locals in tribal regions and, if necessary, seek legal recourse to ensure it.
In a bid to improve living conditions, Naidu committed to providing portable drinking water to every household by establishing a special grid. The promotion of Araku coffee on a global scale was also on the agenda.
Highlighting the submerged areas due to the Polavaram project, Naidu proposed the creation of a special district dedicated to their development.
Furthermore, Naidu emphasized the importance of welfare schemes and the Kutumb Vikasam concept, aiming to support every tribal family. The TDP leader expressed concern over the cancellation of around 16 welfare schemes by the YSRCP government, including the Giri Putrika Kalyanam scheme.
Chandrababu Naidu's promises reflect the TDP's commitment to enhancing the lives of tribal communities and promoting tourism in the picturesque Araku region.
