Cyclone Fani Hit Gopalpur, Landfall in Puri

Southern Bhopal, Gopalpur has already been hit by the Cyclone Fani, where the monstrous look of Cyclone Fani is already affecting the areas. With the very heavy rains, the sea is also very rough and vigorous.

The rainfall has been received in the areas since yesterday night, with the record 135 mm of rain in Gopalpur division along with the wind reaching of the speed to 135 km was recorded.

This was all of yesterday evenings happing’s, however from 9 am today the expectations are a bit high that the weather might get on much worse. As the cyclone, Fani will start making landfall near Beharampur district near Odisha and will continue till afternoon. According to the prediction of the weather department, the wind will catch the speed of 200 km per hour during the rainfall.

The Odisha government has taken all the precaution form the Gopalpur itself and has established several cyclone relief centers where the people are turning in for accommodation. Several NTRFs and STRFs have been deployed by the government.

The cyclone is severe as per the weather department’s prediction and will disappear in the Bay of Bengal by 4^th finally.
