Disco Raja 'Rum Pum Bum' Song Review

A new song from Mass Maharaja starrer Disco Raja is out and the man of the moment S Thaman has come up with another retro-sounding catchy song “Rum Pum Bum”. Bappy Lahari, the music director of the eighties and the nineties associated with the disco music and the song has been roped in as a singer.
Ravi Teja also lends his voice for a segment. The combination looks really good, but it hasn’t been utilized that effectively. Retro feel is on the spot, but the voice of Bappi Lahari is not recognizable due to the overuse of auto-tune, as the senior music director has a natural flavor, which is entirely missing. Still, the tune does the trick and however, the more significant issue with the movie is its promotions.
With confidence, it can be said that so far it has been below par. The movie is going to hit the screens in less than ten days, on 24 Jan 2020. The reach and visibility among the fans and audience have been very low. The first teaser had a great response, but the team couldn’t build on it.
All hopes are now on the pre-release event and a theatrical trailer. Vi Anand has been directing the film, Disco Raja. The commercial entertainer hits screens for Republic Day weekend and it also happens to be the birthday of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja.
