Dulquer Salamaan’s Sita Ramam to be halted?

Sita Ramam is a romantic periodic film for which the director Hanu Raghavapudi handed the megaphone. The movie is slated for its theatrical release on the 5th of August. The movie has already created a good buzz among the public and people are waiting curiously to watch it on big screens.

But at the last moment, it landed in a trouble. There are talks that the film is most likely to be banned in GCC countries such as Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE. The ministry in these countries have refused the release due to the religious delicacies in the movie.

Anyhow, the makers applied for a re-censor and remains to see what is going to happen in the near future. Sita Ramam is bankrolled by Swapna Cinema and Vishal Bharadwaj has provided pleasant tunes for the lyrics. The movie will showcase two time periods and Mrunal Thakur is the love interest of the actor. Rashmika Mandanna, Bhumika Chawla, Sumanth, Tharun Bhasker, Murali Sharma and others will appear in crucial roles.
