Election Commission Assigns Symbol to Janasena Party
Election Commission assigned symbols to new parties which are registered nationwide. ‘Janasena’ party from Telugu states is one among the 29 parties EC allotted symbols. Based on the notification released by EC, Janasena party led by Pawan Kalyan was assigned ‘Glass’ symbol.
Janasena President Pawan Kalyan already announced that the party candidates will contest in the general elections to be held next year. However, on August 12 in Nidadavolu, Pawan Kalyan announced his party symbol as ‘fist’, as it becomes a symbol of equality in society and strength of castes, religions and regions. But now, EC gave ‘glass’ symbol to Janasena.
In fact, Janasena party got approved by the ECI in December 2014 as a political party to contest in the upcoming 2019 general elections. With the election symbol, Janasena can contest for all the 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in AP and Telangana.
