GAMA Awards 2025 Shine in Dubai with Star-Studded Night

The Telugu film industry celebrated a glittering evening at the 5th Gulf Academy Movie Awards (GAMA), held on August 30 at Sharjah Expo Centre, Dubai. Presented by Vaibhav Jewellers and powered by KEinfra Properties, the ceremony brought together top stars, directors, producers, and technicians for a night of recognition and glamour.
The blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule swept the top honours, winning Best Film, Best Director (Sukumar), Best Actor (Allu Arjun), and Best Music Director (Devi Sri Prasad). Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary bagged Best Actress for Lucky Bhaskar, while editor Navin Nooli also won for the same film. Kalki 2898 AD producers Ashwini, Priyanka, and Swapna Dutt received Best Producer, while Devara won awards for cinematography and lyrics.
Playback categories saw Anurag Kulkarni win Best Male Singer and Mangli win Best Female Singer. Critics’ and Jury awards honoured talents like Teja Sajja, Kiran Abbavaram, and Raja Ravindra, while supporting actor categories recognised Vinay Rai, Harsha Chemudu, and Balireddy Pruthviraj.
Newcomers also had their moment: Roshan and Sridevi won Promising Young Actor awards, Nayan Sarika bagged Best Debut Actress, and Niharika Konidela was named Best Debut Producer. Veteran comedian Brahmanandam received the Global Comedian Award to a standing ovation, while producer Ashwini Dutt was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The evening sparkled with dance performances by Faria Abdullah, Urvashi Rautela, and Manasa Varanasi, while hosts Suma and Harsha kept the audience engaged with their wit. Speaking at the event, CEO Saurabh Kesari expressed gratitude to cinema lovers worldwide, calling GAMA a platform that celebrates Telugu cinema globally.
The event reaffirmed GAMA’s reputation as a prestigious celebration of Telugu film artistry, blending recognition, entertainment, and emotional tributes.
