"I am a Pakistani and I condemn Pulwama terrorist attack" says Pakistani journalist
Around 40 of Indian CRPF personnel who lost their life in Pulwama terror attack had filled anger among Indians who seek justice for this cruel act. Amidst all this, a Pakistani journalist has been creating a sensation in media with her #AntiHateChallenge.
"I am a Pakistani and I condemn Pulwama terrorist attack," reads a placard held by Pakistani journalist Sheyr Mirza. She has also urged people to join her campaign. Being a peace activist she has been working on such India-Pakistan issues and wishes to diffuse the hatred spread across the two countries.
While expressing solidarity with Indians she in her Facebook post has also mentioned the below poem by an Indian poet.
'Whether blood be ours or theirs, It's the blood of humankind.
Whether wars be waged in the east or west, It is the murder of world-peace.
Whether houses be bombed or borders, The temple of the Soul is wounded.
War is a problem itself. How will war resolve problems?
Today it will rain fire and blood, Tomorrow, hunger and scarcity.'
While many have lauded the campaign started by Mirza, many Pakistani women came forward in its support holding a placard carrying similar messages.
