Jersey Movie Review
While the tensions of election 2019 are going on, Gowtam Tinnanuri is going to give a sports drama blast film ‘Jersey' starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath as lead actor and actress.
The film is a sports drama filled with emotions and thrill. The main sport around which the film revolves is cricket. Once a confident and cocky cricketer Arjun(Nani), beaten down by his life and now leading a job of a government employee, leaves with his wife Sarah ( Shraddha Shrinath), love of his life for ten years and now have a son together Nani.
Arjun's struggling life is excellently portrayed by Nani, who is so venerable when he struggles to buy a birthday present for his son. Sarah a middle-aged tired wife who tries to support her husband is exceptionally performed by Shraddha. The chemistry between the two is worth watching however, the scenes between Arjun and his son are excellent.
The first half leaves the story impact on the public, Arjun will surely enter team India, but the ‘how’ will keep the grip tightened on the public.
What's Good:
Nani's performance
Father-Son Scenes
Background Score
Emotional episodes
What's Bad:
Cricket scenes are a bit lengthy
Slow paced
Verdict:
Hits a Massive Boundary
