KCR Express Regret Over Damage Done To Temples And Mosque
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has expressed regret over the damage caused to the mosque and temple during the demolition of old buildings inside the secretariat complex.
The Chief Minister, on Friday, said that the government will construct the temple and mosque in the secretariat premises at their own cost and hand it over to the public use.
“I felt really bad when I came to know about the damage caused to these religious places. I am deeply anguished, It should not have happened. The government’s aim was to construct new secretariat in place of the old buildings but in no way to cause damage to the temple and mosque,” the Chief Minister said.
KCR has decided to hold a meeting with the concerned officials soon and will discuss with them the construction of temples and mosques. He shall take up their views seriously while working on the construction part.
“Telangana is a secular State and the spirit will be protected at any cost. The incident was a mere accident and hope that everyone will understand this with a kind heart,” he added.
